Getting High on Fabtech's F-150 Ford 4X4 Lift Kit
Originally, Fabtech was all about two-wheel-drive pre-runner trucks, and if you wanted to make your two-by sky-high, then you probably bought suspension components from Fabtech. Its products were extremely well built, and they stood out thanks to their bright blue powdercoat. Of course, things change, even at a company that builds high-quality suspension components. Now, not only can you continue to buy its wares in the traditional Fabtech blue, but you can also choose black. And the Fabtech crew doesn't just build lift kits for two-wheel-drive trucks; Fabtech also offers a broad array of lift kits for four-wheel-drive trucks.
That brings us to Ford's latest incarnation of the F-150. With its stylish new lines, this F-series is a big hit with truck enthusiasts, so we match both the new F-series with Fabtech's new 6-inch Performance Suspension system that contains minimal parts for a slick install.
This kit will have a big impact on the market for both its maximum ground clearance as well as the overall look and style it provides the F-150.
To complete the install, we went to Super Duty Headquarters, where the SDHQ crew installed the 6-inch lift. Although there are not that many parts to install, a lot had to be removed to get the job done. This is why, depending upon your experience level, you might want to have the pros tackle this job for you. Follow along as the SDHQ crew work their magic on this quick install.
