| The upper arm pivots on urethane bushings with zirk fitting and a 1" race uni-ball replaces the stock ball joint. We adapt the uni-ball to the spindle with a 17-4 heat treated stainless steel adapter. Utilizing the Sway-A-Way Racerunner 8" travel 2.5" reservoir shocks there is no need to cut the stock coil-over mount. The shock design has an external top cap so the shock has a 1.5" shorter overall extend length than all other off-road race shocks. For the steering we have steering extenders and also offer a heim joint steering upgrade. The steering upgrade includes a 17-4 stainless steel ty-rod and inner clevis which utilizes a 3/44" rod end/heim joint. This system will yield 14" travel on a 2x4 and 12" on a 4x4. If desert pre-running/ racing is your forte then the by-pass upgrade is for you! This system can be upgraded with our dual shock mount and a 2.5" 3 tube by-pass shock can be added to the system. So to sum it up this upper and lower uni-ball race kit is for the ultimate in performance so if you are into trail running or desert racing or just exploring Moab, you have found the ultimate in performance. | |
